Rockwood Wealth Management Sponsors Travis Manion Foundation’s 9/11 Heroes Run in Doylestown, PA

Coming together to honor local heroes and support the Bucks County community

Rockwood Wealth Management was proud to again support the Travis Manion Foundation’s 9/11 Heroes Run for the ninth consecutive year, held October 5, 2025, at War Memorial Stadium. The annual event unites the Bucks County community in remembrance of the first responders who gave their lives on September 11, 2001, and those who stepped up to serve in the years that followed.

The 9/11 Heroes Run brings together more than 100 communities nationwide, drawing over 60,000 participants to reflect, run, and rally around a shared mission: honoring the courage and sacrifice of first responders and military service members. The Doylestown event featured a 5K Run in honor of 1LT Travis Manion, a 5K Ruck in honor of CPT Connor Bednarzyk, and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk in honor of 1LT Colby Umbrell. These local heroes embodied selflessness and character, and it is an honor to help keep their legacy alive.

“Supporting this cause is personal for us, and Travis Manion Foundation’s mission of, ‘If Not Me, Then Who…’ is something that resonates with our entire team,” said Kenny Bauer, Partner and Financial Advisor at Rockwood Wealth Management. “As someone who has served on the 9/11 Heroes Run Committee for over a decade, it’s incredibly moving to see colleagues, clients, and neighbors come together to honor those who gave everything in service to others.”

Rockwood employees, their families, and several clients took part in this year’s run, continuing a meaningful tradition of community involvement and remembrance. 1,949 individuals registered for this event, and Rockwood had the largest team out of 68 teams in attendance, at 74 strong. In addition to being a “Never Forget” sponsor, Rockwood team members serve on the year-round Doylestown Heroes Run committee and many others show up in force as day-of volunteers—supporting the Foundation’s efforts to empower veterans, families of fallen heroes, and communities nationwide through character-building initiatives and service projects. In addition to the Doylestown Heroes Run, Rockwood team members also serve on the Bucks County Chapter Committee and volunteer in other events for the Travis Manion Foundation.

With deep roots in Bucks County, Rockwood remains committed to giving back to the community and the people who have given so much to us.
